Sometimes the past doesn’t stay in the past

It shows up as a tight chest, a knot in your stomach, a feeling you can’t quite name, but you know it’s asking for attention.

I work with adults who grew up carrying more than they should have. Maybe your parents were busy or emotionally unavailable. Maybe there was bullying, divorce, addiction, or mental illness in the home. You may be doing “fine” now, yet still feel that something inside you is unfinished, like a younger part of you wants to be seen, heard, or finally brought home.

Our work together looks a lot like regular talk therapy, with one key difference: we listen closely to the body. When emotions come up or something feels uncomfortable, I may gently ask where you feel it. From there, a natural and often symbolic conversation can unfold between your conscious awareness and deeper, unconscious parts of you. This can open the door to meeting your inner child at different ages, offering them what they needed back then, and inviting those parts of you back into the present with care.

You can expect sessions filled with understanding, kindness, and honesty. There may be smiles. There may be tears, the good kind, the kind that release and help you feel more here, more connected.

This approach tends to work best if you’re at a relatively stable point in your life and are open to reflection, imagination, and symbolism. Many artists and creative thinkers feel especially at home with this work. If you prefer a very structured, purely logical approach, this method may not be the right fit, and that’s okay.

My work is shaped by my background in yoga, shamanic practices, and quantum healing, all woven together in a way that stays grounded, compassionate, and deeply respectful of your pace.

If something in you is quietly calling for attention, we can listen together.
